Julia, you know I love you but sometimes you need a keeper. Rest a lot but also do as much as you reasonably can without cartwheeling or dolphining or skateboarding or pigeoning or water buffaloing or albatrossing or tumbling in any way. And, yes, bless your neighbors!

My heart goes out to you! I have actually slammed my body against the toilet bowl coz the floor was filled with water overflowed from the tub. I was running to turn off the tab and slipped. I probably sprained the rib and it took me many weeks to get well again. I empathize with your situation. Hope you can get some help having grocery delivered and that your dog keeps you in good company and spirit!

How weird is it that I just thought of you this morning? I thought it had been a while since one of your posts has crossed my feed.

I'm sorry this happened, I've done stupid shit like this before and it's no picnic. Rest up and get better quickly! Mika's face is priceless 😊

Awe feel better soon. I coughed my ribs to bruise last summer it was absolutely horrible. Every cough felt like torture.

I do often think people lack imagination if what can go horribly wrong in a second. Maybe we Should start again on the

”memento mori” thing….

Holy sh*t, Julia.

I just arrived in Northland NZ yesterday, bringing much-needed rain that has been pissing down all yesterday and today. I have been flirting with the idea of a nice rain run, since it's a warm rain. Now I'm second-guessing.

Don't worry, I won't take the chicken-out path this time. But I will be REALLY CAREFUL. I hope you can do the same while healing as fast as you can. Sending calcium, collagen, T cells and lots of lymphatic fluid flow your way.

Oh Julia, ouch. I know what it felt like when I broke one rib. Multiply that, and wow. It's amazing how often you feel the need to sneeze when you know it will absolutely break you if you do. Hang in there, heal quickly. We feel your pan.

Prayers for a quick recovery. I have Mika's soul sister! Kelly destroys her toys. My daughter said her Lamb Chop toy looked like something out of a horror movie.

Adding my energy for your speedy healing. My inner conversation sound like, "Whew made it without falling. Will next time be OK? . . . . . Oh gawd, so many ways to get hurt the next time I fall. This time sucks but/and my injuries could have been so much worse!"

Get the balance you need of movement and rest. Same as the rest of us are learning to practice.

We care for you

Holy-moly. You need to pay better attention...you know this. I'm not scolding. Sit down to put eye drops in your eyes, please

. You're lucky you didn't pass out.

And I walked this house top to toe with an OT’s list for anything that could go wrong, moved stuff out of the way and spend a good two days making sure. Of course I did. Honestly. And interestingly I was paying attention, watching where I put my foot, making sure I was solid, and it happened anyway. So now I have the bathtub’s no-skid on the floor next to the sink, and on that, you don’t skid at all. You stick. I’m sure that will be even more entertaining. I appreciate you Linda. I’m good, just sore. Just goes to show you about best-laid plans and you can still get laid out…
