Nurit sounds like an amazing person. I have an online friend in her 80s. She isn't a quitter either but it can be tough. Haifa is lovely. I'm glad I got to see it when I did.

I got to see Tel Aviv and Jerusalem back in 1995 while doing some work for Intel. It was a deeply moving journey, and I hope to go back.

Very inspiring and encouraging - wish I had a Nurit in my life. I hope her latest training helps her overcome her balance and vision issues.

I am amazed at the amount of training you are doing but it's very encouraging to remember for days like today when my comparatively easy program feels very challenging. Thank you for your writing. 🌻

Over the last seven years, Glenda, there have been days that simply getting up and down the damned stairs was more than I thought I could handle. I totally get it. I appreciate you.

Great story! Nurit and you are role models. I'm an active 63 year old who's been half-assing it for too long, whinging about time and an arthritic hip. I do my home workouts, ride my mountain bike and take long walks, but I want to do more. I can do more. Thanks for the inspiration!

Thanks Catherine. I've done my fair share of whining about pain, but no amount of whining relieved one whit of it. The experiment of just do it anyway is instructive- it's beginning to fade into the background especially during the day. Boy am I grateful for that.
